June Quilt UFO Number
Where did the month of May go? How are we doing with finding time to work on your quilt UFO? I cut it close this month, and it was down to the wire. The quilt top is finished, just waiting for hand quilting. I used the remaining blocks to create a pillow to go with it. There will be accent buttons added, placed strategically to hide any points that are less than stellar. Is this cheating or creative license? My vote is creative license.
What is the June Number?
I need to stay focused here – you are waiting for the number drawn for June, not rehashing May’s project. For June, you will be working on Number 4.
Flannel is not always the easiest to work with, but everyone in my family loves to wrap up in them. My Number 4 is a frayed edge flannel that needs to be machine-quilted and binding. This project was from many moons ago.
Time to pull out the Autumn variegated threads for meandering all-over the top. It will be frustrating when I have to quilt over the edges. They are bound to flip up/over during the quilting process. Now to decide how I will handle it or let whatever happens to happen.
What is your June project?
I would love to hear about what you are working on. It helps to keep me motivated. Once in a while, I end up adding another pattern to my to-do list. Actually, I often add another pattern to my to-do list. Different patterns and color combinations spark my creativity.
Want to stay updated on the Quilt UFO Project?
I would love to hear about the project you want to work on this month. Take a minute to join the Facebook page. Share what you are working on in April. Feel free to share your January, February, and March projects too. Let us be a support system for finishing projects. If you put a project down because you ran into issues, share it with the group. I am sure a solution to the problem can be found.
Feel free to comment below or share on my Facebook page. I will do an update post throughout the month to share my progress.
Until next time.
