Quilt UFOs and WIPs Progress Update

Wow, it has definitely been a while since I last posted about my Quilt UFOs (Unfinished Objects) and WIPs (Works in Progress)! Taking a little vacation threw me off track—not just during my time away, but even in the days before and after returning. I have to admit, there’s been some progress, but certainly not as much as I would have liked.

The quilt currently loaded on the machine has seen steady progress. It’s so close to being done, but my motivation has been a little elusive lately. Here’s a quick look at where I started and where I am now:

I’m almost finished with the quilting on this piece, and once I find that spark of motivation again, I know it won’t take long to complete. The good news is that I’m so close—just a few more rows!

With the weather warming up, I’m finding it harder to focus on quilting. The gardens are calling my name, and I can’t help but want to get my hands in the dirt. However, I’ll need to be patient, as the ground is still too cold to start cleaning up the flower beds. For now, I’m trying to balance both passions—quilting and gardening—and finding time to enjoy each.

Great news here: The binding on my X’s and O’s Scrap Quilt is officially finished! This quilt has already been washed and dried and is in active use. It’s so heartwarming to see my grandkids wrapping up in it. There’s something special about having scrap quilts as a cozy, functional part of family life.

Upcoming Quilt UFOs and WIPs Options

I’m excited to add another quilt to the list of UFOs: the Mystery Quilt WIP. This one is nearly ready to be added to the machine quilting pile! It’s been a fun challenge so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it all comes together.
