The fall-colored quilt she recently shared immediately caught my attention — it’s actually the mystery quilt from my website! I was thrilled to see her take on it.
Autumn Colors
What struck me first were Dawn’s color choices — those rich, warm autumn tones that seem to glow from within. The pattern came second to me because her color palette completely transformed the design. Her version feels cozy, vibrant, and full of movement – dramatically different from the cool, calming blues I used in mine — yet both are equally captivating. She happened to choose my very favorite color palette, and it just speaks to me in the best way.
A big thank you to Dawn for reaching out and sharing her beautiful work. Your blog is such an inspiration and a perfect reminder of how color can shift the entire personality of a quilt. As quilters, we should never be afraid to color outside the lines! Our creativity is what brings our quilts to life and makes every stitch uniquely our own.

Seeing your scrappy creativity, Dawn, has me itching to dive back into my own stash. My bins are overflowing and practically calling my name — it’s time to dream up a design that lets every little piece sparkle!
