Project Quilt UFO
This month has been intense, and if I am lucky, I will play catch-up on Sunday. I knew I would be up against it during the warmer months, but we’ve thrown a couple more big things into the mix. Please be patient as I re-evaluate the priorities here. Once I have a new routine, things should settle down. I want to get back on track with my Quilt UFO list.
Machine Quilting
This is the one bright spot this month! The quilt on the machine is 3/4 of the way done. I predict it will be done in another hour or so. I haven’t even looked ahead to see what quilt is next, probably for the best. For some reason, I think it is one of the king-sized quilts. So, if nothing else, I did work on machine quilting.
Jack’s Chain
I worked on this project very briefly. I tend to sit for ten minutes or so and work on it. That isn’t enough time to make real progress, but better than nothing! At least, that is what I keep telling myself. It looks like I will have an extra busy July!
Foundation Piecing Quilt UFO
At this point, zero progress has been made on this Quilt UFO. Maybe I will feel up to some quilting time on Sunday. We are helping with our town’s big summer event, which has consumed my time. We will see how exhausted I am on Sunday. I would love to be able to finish this quilt this year!
Upcoming
To give a heads-up, the posts for the beginning of July may be a day or so late. I hope to find some time as we are traveling on the first. If I can stay focused, I should be able to get it done! If you need something to work on in the meantime, check out these links: Scrap Quilts and Quilt Block Library.
The upcoming mystery quilt directions are also coming along great. Once they are written, I will test the pattern. If everything works out, I will post the Mystery Quilt in the new year and ask for suggestions on a name.
