Wednesday Work Table – What are you working on?
What is on my Wednesday Work Table today? Well, it should be the foundation piecing UFOs. But I am actually straightening my sewing room. For the past week, it has irritated me. My worktable is piled high with everything quilty until I can get it organized again.
What is on your Wednesday Work Table? I hope your table doesn’t look like mine: a little overwhelming, but in a good way?!?
It is finally apparent that I am using up my scraps – not that I don’t still have enough for a dozen quilts. I went from two totes of scraps to one, giving me more room in the sewing room. The next goal is to downsize the tote. Let’s see how long this takes. Check out the scrap quilt pattern page for ideas if your scraps are overtaking your sewing room.
New Design Started
I do have a new design started. At first, I thought I would use this as a mystery. While it may be possible to create it in a scrappy format, I am using yardage that I have on hand. The new pattern could be ready later this year if I am productive. I am never sure what life will throw my way each week.
Dawdling
I know that I am dawdling by posting on the website. This is just a quick little break, and then it is back to the organizing. This is the time to turn on the music and sing. If it were warmer out, I would open the windows, too. I am ready for spring but not ready for the busier schedule. Maybe that means it is time to have a quilty weekend; that means I need to find a free weekend.
Touch base and let me know what you are working on. It may result in me adding to my list of projects to do, but that will keep me out of trouble.
Until next time.
