Challenge Wheel Block of the Month for June arrives early
The June Challenge Wheel Block of the Month is arriving a little earlier than usual!
As many of you know, I love sharing the monthly block challenge right on schedule, but this month will be a little different. I will not have internet access until after June 3rd or the 4th, and rather than make everyone wait, I decided to post everything early — including the Challenge Wheel selection!
Watch for the post arriving early next week so you can get started ahead of schedule.
Favorite Part
One of my favorite parts of this challenge is seeing how everyone interprets the Challenge Wheel instructions in their own unique way. Whether it’s a color choice, fabric style, or creative twist, the wheel helps guide the design while still leaving plenty of room for personal creativity. Since I won’t be able to check in online for a few days, I wanted to make sure you have plenty of time to plan, sew, and create at your own pace.
This month’s block comes together quickly, which makes it perfect for fitting into a busy summer schedule. Even though the construction is simple, the Challenge Wheel choice can completely change the overall look and feel of the finished block. It’s always amazing to see how different everyone’s projects become, starting from the same basic pattern.
By posting early, I’m hoping you’ll have extra time to:
- Pull fabrics from your stash
- Think through your Challenge Wheel selection
- Experiment with color value and contrast
- Enjoy the process without feeling rushed
